Interview;
Featuring, Craig Anderson
Blog : http://thebeachsmoke.blogspot.com/
First off, would you mind telling everyone your name, where you reside and your age?
Craig Anderson - Broward County, Florida - 17
What are your hobbies?
Well I write music as a more serious hobby, read, design and blog of course lol
How did you get into the world of blogging? What inspired you to say “fuck it, im making a blog today” if that’s what happened?
I started out with a blog by the name of “Harmonized Illumination” back in November of 2009 with my homie Darrin @burntassperm.tumblr.comwhich was going to be similar to Pharrell’s Artst.com, at the time I had never heard of his site. It wasn’t really going anywhere and Darrin fell back from the project so I turned it into a High Fashion x Art blog. The name wasn’t very marketable so I let it die and came up with an even better product by the name of The Highest Education. It did really well in the months I was maintaining it, I was complimented by complete strangers on my writing and even picked up an internship. I put the Highest Education on hold for many different reasons, but the main reason was the project was rushed. A new “blog” similar to The Highest Education will be out sometime this year but I’m not going to go any further into that. Beach Smoke itself came about out of the desire to highlight the street scene in South Florida; putting where I’m from “on the map” so to speak. South Florida is often overlooked because we don’t have a Bape MIA or a Supreme MIA but there are major things happening that are relavant in the street community down here regardless. My goal with Beach Smoke is to make people aware of these things.
What’s a perfect post to you?
Something you know your readers will enjoy viewing. Anything that a person can see and feel connected with is worth blogging and can be considered a perfect post.
How much time a week do you spend on your blog? And have you contributed any money into your blog?
Time is one thing I do spend on this Beach Smoke project. I’m new to web designing to it took me awhile to complete that layout in blogger’s restrictions but once that got done the real work began. The blog just started Monday, so being completely honest the only money I’ve spent on the blog is buying the domain “www.beachsmoke.com”.
How much feedback have you been getting from your blog?
These past five days I’ve gotten around 800 page views, around 600 were unique visitors so I guess it’s doing pretty well so far.
How would you describe your work ethic towards your blog? Because now a days, you have people that make blogs because it’s the “hip” thing, and do not even dedicate time to it.
Creating a blog for me was definately not just following the wave. I spend a lot of time developing future ideas for this project more than anything else. Brainstorming designs, networking, reasearching, etc.
Where do you see your blog as far as it heightening in hype in the near future?
It’s not really about the hype but I do see Beach Smoke doing exceptionally well in the not so distant future.
What advise would you give to someone that’s trying to complete a successful blog?
Don’t take the first idea that comes to your head and run with it. Develop a solid concept for what you’re going to produce. Also network with others and build relationships, which is even more important than the content you provide.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Everyone will be surprised

Interview;
Featuring, Geia “Duckey” Anderson!
Blog : geyahsblog.wordpress.com
First off I would like to say, that I’ve been following Duckey’s blog for awhile now, and it has greatly inspired me. There was not a second thought when I asked her for an interview.
First off , would you mind telling everyone your name, where you reside and your age?
Hi guys! Im Geia Anderson a 20 year old blogger living in Houston Texas.
What are your hobbies?
Well of course blogging lol I also enjoy watching movies, working out (a new thing lol ), & exploring my city, looking for new& exciting things out here.
How did you get into the world of blogging? What inspired you to say “fuck it, im making a blog today” if that’s what happened?
First my idea was to create a blog to post my poetry & kind of a place just to express myself in a more personal way. I started at blogger & boy was it ROUGH hahha! But I transitioned to wordpress & I just really took off from there & the blog became much more.
What’s a perfect post to you?
Depends on my day, a blog post is kind of like an outfit for that day it depends on what you feel like & which way you want to lay it out on the blog. If I wake up listening to music I’ll most likely do a music post, and sometimes it depends on what I just come across.
How much time a week do you spend on your blog? And have you contributed any money into your blog?
Whhhew! This is a hard one. I’m always signed on my wordpress with intentions to post but the time varies. There was a point in time where I almost dropped $500 on the designing of my site I talked it over with my mother & she said something that made alot of sense, “Why put money into something thats not bringing money in.” So with that being said I figured out a way! Went to tumblr which I still have plus the wordpress blog.
Did you meet Levi maestro from blogging? Can you tell the people how you met him, and how was it finally meeting him in person?
Im not so sure if it was blogging or how I ended up meeting him now that I think back lol I’ve watched all his videos & I followed him on twitter when he made one & I would tweet him & be super stoked he respond hahha! (so lame) lol but one day he asked for his followers to send their phone number in & I sent mines I get a call from him right before he comes down to Houston for the mk13 release. I meet him at Houston Sneaker Summit and he’s a really awesome guy & really really tall! I got my shirt & cell phone signed lol
How would you describe your work ethic towards your blog? Because now a days, you have people that make blogs because it’s the “hip” thing, and do not even dedicate time to it.
Welp! As for me I’ll continue on in hopes of trying to land a spot at an awesome magazine company or even my own! As for the others being a forced “hipster” won’t get them anywhere they will learn to break free one day. I always figured it makes sense of doing things & going places that others have never heard of & make yourself stand out. These days the guy standing to the other guy are twins.
Where do you see your blog as far as it heightening in hype in the near future?
I defiantly see it progressing as long as I stay true to myself & where I want to go & of course if its destiny it will play out.
What advise would you give to someone that’s trying to complete a successful blog?
I would say keep it interesting & set yourself apart & don’t copy & paste….
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Weird thing is I always think about now so I’m not so sure where I see myself in 5 years but I hope in a successful position, learned more things about myself & furthering my schooling.
Thank you for this interview and time! I encourage many adults, young adults, and teenagers to view Geia’s blog, there are great reads.
Thanks so much for the interview & the kind words I really appreciate it & goodluck with everything!

Interview;
Featuring, Symon Goodloe
Blog : http://symongoodloe.tumblr.com/
Email : bookingsymon@gmail.com
Site : http://www.modelmayhem.com/826500
“I would like to say, Symon is like a sister to me, and seeing her emerge to be well known around Texas makes me happy that a great person like Symon is in my life.”
First off Symon, would you mind telling everyone your full name, where you reside and your age?
Hi everyone, my name is Symon Goodloe. I’m 19 years old, born and raised in Austin, TX.
What is your occupation?
I am a full time Model and Student.
How did you get into the world of modeling? And what inspires you to keep going?
As you know, my mother Annette Hill (Owner of Universal Royalty Beauty Pageants) started me out in pageants when I was a baby. It progressed into more pageants, commercials, print work, etc. Around the age of 14 I realized that pageants weren’t “my thing” anymore, I wanted to be on the runways where the excitement takes place. That’s when I stopped competing in beauty pageants and started to focus more on my modeling career. What keeps me going you ask? My family keeps me going. My parents are my rock and I wouldn’t have gotten where I’m at today in the modeling world if it wasn’t for them. I can’t forget my little sister; she supports me in anything I do. I truly cherish that little girl. But my main goal is to take care of my family and make sure they’re taken care of, happy, and care free.
Who do you look up to the most? Do they/It influence any of your style of modeling?
Easy, Chanel Iman is my role model. She’s also my favorite model as well. Sometimes I get told that I look like her and that really makes my day. I absolutely love her and she gave me hope that skinny girls like myself can walk down the Victoria’s Secret Runway.
What sets you apart from the next model?
I think what sets me apart from the next model is my creativity, me being black and German (considering there aren’t many black and German models) and overall my free spirit. I live for grand times; living life to fullest is what I strive for.
I know you have many great connections. What advice would you give someone that is trying to get their name out?
Be yourself and network, that’s what I did. I never pretended to be someone I’m not nor did I change for anyone. Stay true and just be yourself, it gets you further than anything else.
How would you describe your work ethic towards modeling and a bit of promoting?
My work ethic is very determined and sharp. Modeling isn’t easy, you can’t have a pretty face and not know how to work. That’s where most girl get caught up. I know what I want in life and where I want to be therefore, I will work.
Where do you see you as far as heightening in hype in the near future?
I see myself accomplishing my goals and helping others around me trying to get where they need to be. To me, hype isn’t what I’m concerned about at all. I want to do what I love and be fierce doing it. Get to the top and provide for my family, that’s all I’m worried about.
“I always was so surprised at how young you were, but how successful you are. You work like a kind of internal motivation to me. Whenever I might just be like, fuck this brand, I think of you and it keeps me moving”
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself taking over the world. I like to think I’m a villain at times. (Chuckles)
Thank you for this interview and time! You are a great mentor/inspiration to

Interview;
Featuring, Morgan Farruya!
Blog : Morgarruya.blogspot.com
Morgan’s blog, in my eyes, is a mixture of hilarious random things, mixed with a great fashion sense. Sounds weird, but the combination makes for a great blog.
First off Morgan, could you tell the people your name, age, where your from.
Hello, Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Morgan Lindsey Farruya. I’m 18 years old, just shy of 19! and I was born’n’raised in Dallas, Texas. An original Triple D Allstars.
What/who started to inspire you to get into blogging?
How I got into Blogging, when I went to school last fall, I didn’t have any friends haha.. so I began having these brief informative postings about notable incidents and my man-babe hunts through Myspace Bulletins. Those actually got crazyyy feedback and popular. A lot of people began following them. That and the fact that So many people told me they went to my page for my musical playlists and things like that made me want to just start a real blog, officially. I actually made one in October, but that was right when I began to make friends and actually tell people ‘in front of me’ what’s going on in my life, so I fell off blogging.
Picked it back up in March.
What are some of your hobbies?
I suppose my biggest pastime would be Basketball. I’m a certified hooper. Sometimes I’ll go play Sand Volleyball with my franz.
Other than that, I don’t know if this counts as a Hobby, but I love watching movies. I have a huge appreciation for good Film Productions. ha, and Hell Blogging has definitely become one of my hobbies.
Can you explain “Morgarruya”? Where did it come from?
Years back, My phone was touch screen and on the front of it listed my main information or whatever. It was the Sprint pc6700, if you know. Anywho, Some how or another, I edited the 3 characters “n/space/f” out of my Name and never corrected it. When people looked at my phone, they’d say “Morgarruya?” . . I liked it.
What is TheUNKO? And what’s your association with them?
UNKO has several definitions; your choice of looking at it. For one it means Shit in Japanese lol.. and when you add our logo = “Fly Shit.”
Secondly and third, It’s both the first four letters of Unkommon Kolor or the first two letters of each separate word.
Unkommon Kolor is a local street wear clothing company founded in 2008 in Dallas, Texas- Constructed by impressively talented artists/designers who’ve went to school for this shit. It started off extremely customize-EVERYTHING but we’ve toned that down to specific inquiries and orders. We’re mostly known for our T-shirts aside from other releases and our fan base has stretched from Dallas to scattered portions all over the Southern Region. We just made our first International sell to someone in Scotland, btw! Business is climbing profoundly.
My association with UNKO is sort of a long story, but quickly summed up:
Dating back to Summer 08 -After working with Blue at a Boutique, I developed a really good relationship with him and Biggers. After being around them so much and becoming so strongly affiliated with the company as a whole -but more importantly the people in it, It only seemed fitting/appropriate that I join team. So they threw me a jersey. If titled, It’d publicist/stylist. …Occasionally, I’ll sprinkle my two cents towards a design/ take some pictures.
Who’s some of your fav. Artist Top 10?
I’m finding it really difficult to decipher and recognize one without the other lol. I’m going to have to bend the rules; I’m afraid I can’t do 5. My favorite Artists that I could just listen to all day would be;
1. Ella Fitzgerald
2. Paramore
3. Sleater-Kinney
4. Drake
5. Red Hot Chili Peppers
6. Amy Winehouse
7. Dom Kennedy
8. Rachael Yamagata
9. Feist
10.Lauren hill
Whats your top 5 brands?
I have not eeeven been checking in on clothes; I’ve been so poor for the past year.
But ;
1. Hellz Bellz
2. Unkommon Kolor
3. CoCo Chanel
4. Christian Louboutin
5. The brand With No Name lol
Just a random thought, you remind me too much of my sister, it’s fucking weird. Dress the same, shes also been having her septum pierced since she was 14, creeps me out.
Where do you see yourself in about 5 years?
5 year Plans no fun. I want to live a little. But I will say I’ll be done with school and Successful.
Can you give the people a one sentence summary of you before we finish this?
I actually hate trying to describe or explain myself… Not that I would be able to come up with a summary anyways, but I’m sure it would come out all wrong.
There are very few people who’ve got me figured out. I just want people to know that no matter what they heard through the Grapevine or read on my blog, please don’t presume you know me.
But not to end on a sour note lol… Thank you Mr.McLemore for choosing me of many to interview, and thank you to everyone who took the time to read it!
Besos, xoxo
It was an honor for me to do this interview with a boss ass young lady as yourself. All I can say is keep doing what you’re doing what I think success is going to be right there for you.

Interview;
Featuring, Asa Davis! (Musician)
Blog : http://txposterchild.tumblr.com/
First off, would you mind telling everyone your name, where you reside and your age?
My name is Asa Davis. I reside in H-town Texas. lol, and I’m 16.
How did you get into music & how long have you been into music?
Really I’ve been in music all my life. I started to get into piano and classical music when I was 5, and one day I was like hey, I like music in general so much, why won’t I just make what I wanna hear instead of all the garbage things I was hearing on the radio. This started back in 08.
What set you apart from other artist. How would you describe Asa Davis as an artist?
What sets me apart from other artists is that I’m don’t box my art into one category, as much as I love Hip Hop music, I don’t wanna be labeled as just a “rapper” or a “Beat Maker”. I wanna just extend my craft and perfect it as much as possible.
If the people didn’t already know, you do make beats beside rapping. Which of the two do you enjoy doing the most.
Hard question lol, I feel as though making beats and music doesn’t have a box on it, and I feel you can express yourself more with beats, so I like producing kinda more, but also love spittin too. lol.
How much time a week do you spend on your music?
shh, I would have to say, all day, literally. lol If I’m not doing chores, or at school, or my moms hasslin’ me, I’m making music, observing music and or other artists.
As you being like a brother to me, I understand you work hard to accomplish what you do. Can you explain the work you put into your art of music?
Well basically, whenever I set out to do anything, whether it’s making music, rhyming, engineering, I put time into it and I don’t stop until I’ve perfected it as much as possible.
Whats next for Asa Davis? Anything new dropping soon?
Well I just dropped a single called “Take Off” ft. Van Solo which is off my most current project called Visible Thoughts, which is releasing later on in the year. Also be on the lookout for the video dropping this summer.
Where can the people find most of your music?
you can find my music posted on my tumblr, and Ill be releasing music on my twitter @txposterchild
What advise would you give to someone that’s trying to become a successful musician?
First off, you gotta consider if this is something you really wanna do, not even what you like to do, if you truly and honestly love music, just put your heart into it, and don’t let anyone put you down on what you, and remember that everything can make progress.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself touring around the world, working with my idols in the game, and just living life as an artist.
Asa Fucking Davis!

Interview;
Featuring, Tyler, the Creator! Or Wolf Haley (Musician)
Website : http://oddfuture.com/
First off, would you mind telling everyone your name, where you reside and your age?
hi, im ron, i’m from compton california, and i’m just turned 43.
but no really, im tyler, i’m from hell and i recently turned 19.
What are a couple hobbies?
i enjoy long walks on the beach, beating up girls and littering. and skateboarding. and yelling at people.

How did you get into music & how long have you been into music?
i got into music because i sucked at life when i was younger, so, i just like, started listening to music. this is a pretty question.
What inspires you to be like, “Fuck it, im going to make a song today”?
i usually think of videos before i even make a song, thats why some of my songs are so vivid in detail. wait, that didn’t answer the question. i’m sorry.
Ive been following your music since you were about 16, and even then you have created abnormal and great instrumentals, but also create a good song around the base of music. What goes through your mind when making a song? And what do you enjoy doing more, beats or actually rapping?
i really can’t choose. with composing music, i can draw people in with the different sounds and chords i use, show them a really unorthodox and creative side of me. then with my lyrics, i can pist the world off and control kids minds to do really bad shit. but lyrical patterns and getting shit off my chest and just saying shit that people wont get till the 5th time is fucking great. but then again, composing is like sex. i can’t choose, i love them both, but i started with rhyming first.

What made you start oddfuture, and who are the original members of the group?
it started as a magazine focusing on art, music and skating. but then, it turned into a gang full of young fucks who’s into all of that shit. and the orignal MUSIC side of OF would include Hodgy Beats, Left Brain And Myself, Back In 07.
How does a normal day go for Tyler?
its summer so, wake up. lurk the internet. eat some cookies. leave the house* this is the time where alot of random shit that’s unplanned can go on* come home. shower. go to sleep.
Explain your style of music. And if possible, does any musician have an effect on how you make music?
my style of music is fucking awesome. someone reading this might disagree, but you clearly asked me to explain how i view my music, and it has no genre. my music is like a mosh pit at a jazz concert. or like, Dr Suess Meets Hitler. Like, the Beats Can Be fucking amazing, epic, very beautiful and dream like. i usually make make that you can listen to without lyrics and its still a full song. but the lyrics just make everything come together, really fucking evil and vivid, and some of the shit other teenagers can fucking relate to. i had a 34 year old nigga tell me how much ‘Inglorious’ made him feel fucking swagged out, and how some kid lost his virginity to ‘VCR/Wheels’. In the end, my style of music is tyler, because i make music i want to listen to. and, i’m influenced by alot of artist, but, i make music my own way, no certain procedure.
How much time in a week do you spend on music?
in a tech sense, 24/7. i’m always thinking of videos to do, beats to make, random lines to throw in songs, and i’m listening to music 70 percent of my day
Any new shit coming soon for you and oddfuture that the viewers should look out for?
Domo’s Rolling Papers, Mellow Hype is working on a 2nd tape. More Videos, and Uh, WOLF in december. and i’m going to be staring in a porn with queen latifah.
Who are your top 6 artist?
Fuck, Hard Question. Uh, Fuck. Andre 3000, James Pants, Clipse, Eminem, N.E.R.D, Tyler , The Creator. Badu. Cortex. Waka Flocka. Toro. Sade. Snoop. To Many To Name, Not Fair.
Where do you see yourself in 6 years?
It Can Go Two Ways: On A Trampoline In My backyard Next To My Half Pipe, That i Bought with all the money i made from music, in a really cool shirt. and a nice hat. and like, taller. and, hopefully i have some type of grammy. but very succesful, with awards, a girlfriend, and a couple protesters outside of my home. or DEAD from suicide. hopefully the first one.
Describe Tyler in 6 words.
A Fucking Dinosaur. ( That’s Three Words. Now Double That. Then Make Triples.)
Yo thanks for the interview dude. Coming from a big fan of your music, your and oddfutures music is going to fucking blow up in the near future.

What goes through your head when you make music?
Janus: the roman god of doorways (look it up)
Out of all the members in oddfuture, In my opinion your music sounds the most serious, like you put more heat into what your saying. What provokes you to say what you say?
I feel what I say word for word. Not one letter will slip out of my mouht hand me not be serious about it. Im outspoken with no joking. Ha. Didn’t mean to rhyme
haha oh shit^
The pressure of the art of music sometime overwhelms some niggas which causes them to quit. What keeps you going and making music?
Well our music comes from the heart. It will continue as we progress into big icons on thie earth, all the fuck niggas who realize music isn’t for them quit. because they see OFWGKTA dominators.
Do you work as a mentor to some of the younger artist in oddfuture?
Yeah I do. I put pressure on them. Not too much but just enough to make them have confidence in themselves after the night is over.
How does a normal day go for Hodgy Beats?
Everyday is abnormal. Fuck, umm. Wake up. Say fuck. Bake. Eat a donut or two. Catch the gold line to LA. Record. Chase the dream that I have with dedication and hard work.
You and Left Brain together is genius. Can the people expect something from you guys in the near future? And expect something from Hodgy solo in the near future?
Yesssfuckingsir. MellowHype BlackenedWhite is our next compilation. Afterwards we are working on a love compilation called pink&white. Yeah there will be a couple of solo tapes coming out. Im working hard as fuck. It will pay off literally.
Explain your style of music. And if possible, does any musician have an effect on how you make music?
My style of music can be what they call mainstream only because of my marketable voice and swagger. Yeah influences: 50 cent, jay, em, mf doom, madlib, dilla, Za-ra, Gorillaz, lupe, t.i., wayne outkast, and uhhh OFWGKTA
